Join MPT artists in making colorful costumes and amazing floats for the All-city Parade on July 27. Be a part of the art!

June 21 - July 25
Wednesdays, noon-3 pm
Thursdays, 5-8 pm
Fridays, 12-3 pm
Saturdays, 10 am-2 pm

Professional artists leading the project include: Jeff Holub, Max Samson, Stewart Johnson, Andrew Parchman, Michael Pettit, Linda Freund, Chloe Smith, Faith Purvey, Kathy Eggers, Amparo Rodriguez and Katie Jesse. The resulting creations will be part of the Summer of Peace All City Parade and Peace Rally and other neighborhood parades. Workshops run through July 25.

PASA Arts Residencies:
Presented with Milwaukee Mask and Puppet Theatre and the American Civil Liberties Union Greater Milwaukee/PASA. Youth create masks, puppets, headdresses and float elements for neighborhood parades and celebrations. Already underway for kids enrolled in after-school programs at Alliance School, North Division High School, and Riverwest/COA Youth and Family Center. Workshop leaders are Katie Jesse, Andrew Parchman and Tanya Byrd Cromartie. The outcome of these workshops will be part of the Summer of Peace All City Parade and Peace Rally.
